So hello. I can not help to feel inclined to get involved in our election this year. So I want to do a quick unofficial survey of who my friends and family are going to vote for in less than a month. I don't want to hear your not voting. For a long time I have been bitter and thinking I don't even want to vote. But I have been humbled and realize that men and women have died for us to have the right to vote. YADI YADI YADA!! Point is before I push my views on you I want to know who you are going to vote for and why. Please don't tell me you like Sarah Pallin. Love you all

What are people ENTITLED to?
Does your neighbor have the right to demand that you take care of all his or her needs just because?
From a religous angle; Whose idea was it treat everyone the same. To make everything equal. To force everyone to obey? TO CONTROL ALL ASPECTS OF OUR LIVES?
These ideas were rejected from the very begining of existence. The were wrong then and they are wrong now. They MUST NOT BE FOLLOWED.
There is a current political party which holds as its core belief, these ideas. That people CAN'T succeed without Governmental help is the idea on which they base ALL of their agendas. Not just a helping hand when they are down, but cradle to grave entitlements.
When you think of great people in history, which one of them do you think, sat down and said to themselves, "I WILL ACHIEVE GREATNESS BY LETTING OTHER PEOPLE TAKE CARE OF ME." ...
Greatness, Stature, Character and POWER are not gifts from the government. They can only be earned. They only have VALUE when they are earned. They are earned on the UNEVEN, UNFAIR battleground of life. No one has ever achieved greatness by falling down and waiting for someone to pick them up. EVER.
Unfortunatly, both of the major political parties now enact laws based on this entitlement mentality. But the modern 2008democrat party holds these beliefs at their core whereas the republican party flirts with these ideas. To vote republican is a vote for the "lesser of two evils."
TO ABSTAIN from voting however is to SANCTION, all of the actions done by BOTH parties these last few years. Remember, reguardless who wins, there will be a pollster out there counting HOW MANY AMERICANS actually voted. What does that say to the politians in power if only 20% of us go vote. IT SAYS THAT THEY CAN DO WHATEVER THEY FEEL LIKE BECAUSE WE DON'T CARE ENOUGH TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

I'm voting McCain. Not necessarily because I support him, but because I'm against Obama. I feel like Obama has a lot of Communistic ideas. I consider myself a true conservative in terms of politics and morals. I don't feel like the Republican party always represents my opinions but more so than the Democratic party.

I am sure you are voting for Obama because he is hot (well at least hotter than McCain) and we all know how you get crushes on the president! I am voting for McCain but its hard to know who is best...I voted for Bush and feel like he was not the person I thought he would be...anyone can change with all that power. But I will vote thats for sure.
Oh yeah and I do like Sarah, why dont you? She may not be as politically wise as some but I think she has a good heart and that is something I have not seen in a while.
